GoalKeepers
Brendan Clarke (4.5K) - Shelbourne FC
LOI Veteran Brendan Clark is my 1st choice GK for Lee Murtagh XI. So far this season, Shelbourne has displayed many defensive solid performances, and after some dodgy Lewis Webb performances at the beginning of the season, I believe Brendan Clarke could collect many clean sheets this season.
Kian Moore (4k) - UCD A.F.C
Almost Certainly will not use Moore, only selected due to his low price.
Defenders
Dane Massey (5k) - Drogheda United
Solid Full-back at a cheap price. Will get some assists and goals throughout, also Drogheda are playing UCD (H) for match day 10, so I have also captained Massey.
Danny Lafferty (5K) - Derry City
Derry are flying along at the moment, but also have the best defence in the league at the moment. Lafferty provides versatility, who can play in either full-back positions. Has experience winning the league and also has demonstrated he has an eye for goal. In my opinion, 5K is a great price.
Max Murphy (4K) - Bohemians
Solid selection for only 4K. Murphy will be involved throughout the season for Bohs, and has the potential to bag some assists. My concern here would be how many goals Bohs concede as they are averaging conceding1 goal-a-game at the moment.
Anto Breslin (5.5K) - St. Pats
The most expensive defender in my team, but worth it in my opinion. Pats have only conceded 6 goals so far this season, and with it being very likely Breslin will play the vast majority of games this price makes sense.
JR Wilson (4.5K) - Shelbourne FC
For 4.5K I believe this is a bargain. For the way Shelbourne play, I think you can obtain get the best of both worlds with JR in your team. As he plays Wing-back, you will secure points when Shels secure a clean sheet, but Wilson be instrumental for Shels this year going forward, I expect him to bag number of assists with a couple of goals.

Midfielders
Jack Byrne (9K) - Shamrock Rovers
After his display against Shelbourne in Match day 9 of the LOI premier division, it was evident that Byrne is starting to get up to speed. If he delivers anything like the amount of goal and assists as he did in is last season for Rovers, this could be a bargain price.
Will Patching (8K) - Derry City
The first name on my team sheet. This guy is having the season of his life so far, he is the joint top-scorer of the league with 5 goals. All I can say is, put him in your team. Baller.
Shane Farrell (5.5K) - Shelbourne FC
Mainly selected due to his price, but Shane Farrell is a great number 10 for Shels and will be a big player for them this season. He also just scored his first goal of the season last week against Rovers, so maybe this could be start of a few more.
Dawson Devoy (7K) - Bohemians
In my opinion, Dawson is the best number 10 in the league after Jack Byrne. He has struggled so far this season, however, I believe its only a matter of time before he starts to produce many goals and assists.
Darragh Burns (8K) - St. Pats
U21 Irish international, Burns, is very likely to have an excellent season this year. With many English clubs rumoured for his signing in the off-season, I expect Darragh will be hoping to reach double figures in goals to catch the eye of a top english club for his signature. Big season ahead for him.
Forwards
Eoin Doyle (11.5K) - St.Pats
The most expensive player in my squad, but I think this is where Im going to get the most of points. Eoin is a top-top striker, being one of the top goal scorers in England back in 2019. It hasn't happened quiet yet for Eoin, but there seems to always be a transition period for players when they return from England. Double figures in goals for Eoin I believe.
Aaron Greene (10K) - Shamrock Rovers
Aaron has won many leagues with Rovers now, again, I expect him to get into double figures in his goals tally this season.
Filip Mihaljević (6.5K) - Finn Harps
The only Finn Harps player in my squad, but this guy is quality. When Finn Harps are playing teams in the lower half of the table I will try my best to include him in my XI.
